New Business Sales Executive (UK)

Location: Winchester, Hampshire or Hybrid / Remote

Salary: Competitive + Bonus

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Business Development Sales Executive focusing on process safety laboratory testing and technical consultancy to blue chip Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Personal Healthcare manufacturers. Reporting to the CEO and responsible for developing new clients.

The Primary Role: Business Development

  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships.
  • Research and develop new business opportunities
  • Follow-up leads from Marketing and BDO team.
  • Creating Quotes
  • Undertaking technical sales visits in the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe as required.
  • Attending exhibitions and manning the stand
  • Attending training seminars and supporting other BD activities.
  • Producing Sales KPI reports
  • Obtaining Marketing intelligence
  • Liaising with other international offices for the Sigma-HSE Group.
  • Participation in promoting the company via PR, article and white paper / Datasheet preparation with Marketing.
 

Skills & Experience

  • Preferably business development sales track record in the field of process safety, laboratory testing and consultancy services.
  • Familiarity with process safety legislations and on-site implementation of:
    • DSEAR / ATEX 137
    • Risk Management (QRA, HAZOP, PHA, LOPA)
    •  COMAH / Seveso III
    • REACH
 

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence essential.
  • Candidates must already be authorised to live and work in the UK.
  • Candidates must live within commuting distance of Winchester, UK.
    • Candidates with relevant experience may have the option of remote working.
