On-demand Webinar: The Trials and Tribulations of Risk Assessments
This month’s webinar will discuss what good process risk assessment really looks like.
Process risk assessment are not simply the use of a series of tools, like, DSEAR, HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, Bow-ties – but a justified decision-making process – the use of which should be a great benefit to a business. We should therefore look at safety as a risk based goal approach and isn’t very prescriptive.
Dr Fowler will clearly differentiate between risk analysis or evaluation, and risk assessment and illustrate this with best practices in the process sector, and how to implement such practices within your process safety management systems and culture of the organization.
What you’ll learn:
- How and why a top-down level organisational model centred upon the need to constantly improve is a pillar for process safety success
- Why risk assessments should lean towards decision making rather than calculations
- Understanding Positive vs Proportionate risk assessments
This webinar is best for:
- Process Safety Managers
- Laboratory Staff
- Health and Safety Managers
- Middle Managers
- Operational Staff
- Engineering Staff
